Another stumper

Well I hope someone can tell me what THIS is. Thought at first glance th set it was a brittle star. But wrong central body, too many legs, and moves like a spider. What the heck IS it????

Looks like a sea spider!! Some eat coral I think, can’t see the video. Only going off the pic

Agree with sea spider. Get rid of it, they eat coral and some other reef inhabitants.

I do NOTTTTT like spiders. I believe he was deep in the toadstool algae. Do you think there could be more? Any recommendations for eliminating any others that might be in the tank?

I truly hate to kill anything ever. It pains my heart. But I can't have him eating my corals.

Where did you find it? Just crawling around the rock or was it in a coral?

I moved my large pump and inadvertently blew some loose toadstool algae across the tank, simultaneously saw him flying around. Snatched him up in a small container before I lost him. He must have blown out of his hiding spot.in the algae. I had gone through that algae with a fine tooth comb for just this very reason, goes to show your can never be too careful!
