Hey all,

So, after feeding some plankton to my clowns, I was looking really closely at the sand and noticed something new crawling out from the rocks. It looked to be a kind of Brittle Sea star, but it was far too small to get a pic (smaller than a dime). I could see 5 spiky long legs, but it was pure white. Could this in fact be the Brittle Sea star and are they dangerous to coral? Are they white when babies and gain their color as adults?

It is truly amazing! I have had this tank setup well over a year and have never seen this little guy anywhere. It looks exactly like the photo below, but like I said, white.

Thanks guys!
