Another what in tarnation is this!

Been trying to catch whatever this is in the act for a couple days now. Only comes out at night and when I shine a light it goes back into it's hole. It only seems to chill inside of this ONE rock....

I had one of those in my tank a while back. I think what you see is just the feeding apparatus of the worm and not the body itself. Could be just another species of polychetes. It never bothered anything. I just noticed it eating algae and detritus so I left it alone.

As KJ said, I wouldn't worry about catching it, its a good detrivore.
