So I was checking out my tank this evening with the flash light and found these tiny pink worms...they look like a really tiny thread of beads...any thoughts?

Bristle worms.. they're ok unless you have too many.

looks like bristle worms to me....bit stretched out reaching for stuffs.

Ok in a check population, they can get out of hand in an over feed tank...But seeing a few at nights fine.

Dang! That is what I was afraid of. I do feed a lot because of sun corals and dendros...sigh oh and it only looks gigantic, I zoomed way in so you could see it. It is like the thickness of a strand of hair. It's really tiny. I appreciate the help!

I've seen massive bristle worms in my tanks. A ton of wrasse have all but eliminated them as a factor

Ok those of you that want them...do they serve a good purpose?? If they are good/ok for the tank they can stay otherwise start sending me your addresses and I will mail them out as I catch the little buggers! So short of going swimming in my tank to catch them, if I am reading this right, wrasses will eat them to get rid of them? I am having nightmares about these giant worms stinging me and/or those bobbit worm things that jump out of the sand and grab your fish!! haha ;)

You definitely don't want any bobbits, but bristles they're ok..just fun to watch when you can and they help keep things clean..just not hundreds of them.

Thank you so much for the info, I won't worry so much...until I see some other odd critter!

Well if you do find a Eunice there's a member here called "wiz" that would love to have it in his tank...for real! Wish you the best!
