Maybe these are 2 different critters... They look like sticks on the rocks. Brown bases with white tops. They look hollow, but my eyes may be going... I haven't seen plumes come out, even at night.
Then I was looking at the base of my candy cane and zoa's (not pictured) and see something with plumes. Same kind of brown stick base. The live rock is years old and the coral was added less than a month ago.
What am I looking at? Good witch? Or bad witch?
