I’ve been looking to get rid of anthelia that have crawled up a few branches of Tonga LR. I would assume methods be similar to how you’d rid of Xenia. I saw an interesting method that used a felt cloth to cover and smother the Xenia. They left it covered for 10 months. If I were to try thing I would scrape as much as I could and do a 10% WC immediately before covering. My concern is how the cloth would invite algae and cyano and leaching anything into the water if left for 10 months.
Any other recommendations for method or material

Depending on where it is growing, I use a simple tooth plaque remover pic. Just delicately scrape at the base of the Anthelia and you can then lift it up almost like a carpet.
The kind on the back of those plastic floss?
I’ll give it a go but they’ve gotten themselves fairly wedged in there.
