so anthelia is annoying and it is just like pulsing xenia just minus the pulsing and x3 of the annoying, they grow super fast, i've heard mainly 2 ways of removing them, 1. forceps pulling them off 2. they hate freshwater so a syringe type ordeal. so i still need some good ways to get rid of these guys, this is one of the last things that need to be done to my tank to make sure i can get new lights, if i get new lights with these things here, it will not be good, thank you all

alright, does lfs usually have forceps?

Amazon!

But I use a needle nose pliers (vanadium steel) that I got from the local hardware store (Do-it Best center). They came with wire cutters that I use to frag corals too.

The trick with tweezers, pliers and forceps is to pry the edge of a patch up a little. Kind of like moving an anemone. You pry slow, avoid ripping, and once you’ve freed up a sizable “patch”, you can get your tweezers under it to grasp on; lifting and grasping more with each stroke. Tedious but rewarding. After a few weeks, some small sprouts might appear. Just repeat.
