Anthia turning black? What is happening?

Is this normal for an anthia to turn black?

That is strange but I would be willing to bet its turning male but I'm not an anthia expert. One of these two fish nerds ought to know better than this fish nerd.

One of my anthias turned into a male recently and it looked similar to that.

You guys were right! It looks like it changed sex! Its still taking some time to get back to the original color.

It won't be the original color again. Males have different colors than females.
