What is the difference between the two? Online pictures look the same.
 
The flame has a more colorful top fin on both male and female the dispar female are pretty uniform in color not much variation on the top fin also the male Dispar is more purple

It also depends a lot in the region the come from. so many of them look different from region to region
 
They are sister species. Dispar is the Pacific version, ignitus is the Indian ocean version. There is a slight difference in color at the back of the dorsal. Care for each is identical.
 
Thanks all. They basically looked like they could be the same. Flame being brighter color form of dispar more or less.
