going to be getting a single female lyretail anthias for my 30 g. Anyone wanna share their experiences with these gorgeous fish? The ones my lfs carry are very vibrant, active and eating everything they feed them.

I have had a pair for about 6 months and so far so good in my 55. I feed 2-3x a day, and it's taken me a while to get the proper amount of food per feeding without causing nutrient spikes. Mine eat everything - flake, pellet, live, frozen, so when I have gone away for longer work trips, it makes me feel better knowing that they will eat whatever my auto feeder drops out. I really like these active fish and hopefully I am doing the best that I can for them.

They are pretty easy to keep if you feed them several times a day. I really suggest an auto feeder in case your not around or forget a feeding or two. I feed my fish manually most mornings, but somtimes I don’t have time. My auto feeder is set to feed small amounts 4 times a day.
