Anthias eye trauma or disease?

Noticed that my female Lyrtail Anthias has a bulging eye (clear not cloudy). Other eye is fine. No one else in tank is sick or injured. Do you this this is an eye injury or a disease? How should I treat it?

Sounds and looks like Popeye, as mentioned (exophthalmia). Just to be on the safe side, I'd put that fish into a hospital tank and treat with antibiotics.

Bringing back an old post but I've got a Lyretail Anthia in QT that looks similar. Started off with bulging but, like your above, as its getting a bit bigger I'm seeing what looks like a little air in there maybe. Its reflective in some areas, just like the photo above.

To the OP, did it ever improve/recover?

EDIT: I see this post was older than I thought and OP doesn't look too active... hmm
