Anthias Feeding Help - Marcia and Lyretail

Just added two small schools. 7 Marcia's and 5 Lyretails. Beautiful. All shoaling together.

I haven't been able to get them to eat though. They all attack the food aggressively but they instantly spit it out.
I've tried New Lite Spectrum micropellets, Ocean Nutrition Formula Two pellets, Ocean Nutrition Formula Two Flakes, and Hikari Bio-Pure Mysis Shrimp. It's only been 24h since I've added them but knowing their metabolic requirements I'm starting to worry a bit.
Any other suggestions? Thoughts?

Try frozen foods- like brine and/or mysis if they are newly imported they probably haven't been acclimatised to dry food.

Most pseudanthias have to be weaned onto pellets, and may never take flakes. You’ve got to start them on frozen mysis, brine or calanus ..... or all three.

I’ve always got mine first eating with live brine LFS sells it for cheap where I’m from within a week or two they eat pretty much anything I throw at them

My anthias eats a combination of reef frenzy and mysis for the past 2 years . I actually bought this fish at Petco

Pe calanus is great and it will make their colors very vibrant. Will also mess with your skimmer temporarily too!

Mysis. If they don't eat that they are not hungry.

Whoohoo they ate frozen Omega Brine shrimp!
Not the most nutritionally dense food but at least it’s a start.
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Hopefully I’ll be able get them onto pellets or flakes.
Will also pick up some PE Calanus and try that.
