Anthias female to male

I knew Anthias were hermaphroditic but I have never seen this happen before. These two Anthias were the exact same color and size. Both were an orange colored lyretail Anthias, but after the one, who was a female lost its previous mate, and received another female (orange one) in the tank, it began turning a light pink with purple on its edges with a long dorsal spine. Pretty cool stuff! I'm sure this is common but i thought I'd share.
