Hi everyone, my anthias has fin rot due to bacterial disease, they are still active and eating good, have a little long string white poop too.
Should i treated with Metroflex + focus or kanaflex+ focus? I treated them with metroflex+focus before but it came back.
I do have melafix too but not sure its safe to use and i am confused if melafix will help fixing the fin damage or treating bacterial diseases.
Thanks for ur input.

If you feed your anthias General Cure + food + Focus (10 days once a day) that will treat the internal pathogens with both a metro + prazi which covers most issues. Then can also treat the tank water with Kanaplex (10-14 days) for the bacterial infection. When dosing all of these meds at once in a QT it's a good idea to increase the O2 by using a powerhead aimed up at the surface actively rippling the water surface.

they are both in my DT, is it safe to do Kana in DT?

Sorry, but it's not a good idea to treat a DT with antibiotics. Damage to the DT's biofilter can result in bacterial blooms, algae blooms, and there is the problem of creating antibiotic resistance within the display tank.

Thank you for ur input, well i guess i will continuing to mix food with metro+focus and melafix sometimes
