I'm looking to add some Anthias to my display and wanted some recommendations.
Tank 300g mixed reef

Current stock
Desjardins Sailfin
Blonde Naso
Yellow belly Hippo
Copperband butterfly
Pair of premium black ice clowns
Blue green chromis x's 7

Harlequin shrimp I haven't seen since I added him
And random snails...

I want add like 6 or 7 Anthias, I was thinking a group of lyretail or dispar. Was wondering what you guys think.

I also want a sunburst.
And plan on some wrasse's too.

Thanks for any input or suggestions.

Lyretails are hardier, but more aggressive. I prefer dispars though, as they are still pretty hardy, are a little more social with each other, and a little less aggressive than lyretails.

Dispars will go well with your current and proposed stock.

Good to know, thanks! There is a Sale on dispars too right now. 13.99 each. Maybe I'll go pick some up...

Would you recommend getting the sunburst in the tank and situated before or after the group of dispars?

Sunburst's get aggressive with each other also, but you may be OK with a small group in a 300 gallon. Just don't be surprised if you end up with only 1.

I only want 1 sunburst, just wasn't sure to get the sunburst in the water before the group of dispars
