I have had a trio of anthias for close to a year. A few months ago I lost one, but it got picked on by one of the others some so I thought may have just got beaten up. Came home today to see that one of the 2 left was dead. No signs of aggression or anything just dead. I haven't fed as much lately since been working 12 hours. Would you think the lack of food could be the problem or something else? Parameters to come but I don't think the parameters are to blame. Stock list yellow tang, tomini tang, magnificent foxface, pajama cardinal, tanaka pygmy wrasse, few small goby, urchin, bellus angelfish, . Tank 90 gallon with 30 gallon sump and 40 gallon tied together . The 40 gallon has a pair of clowns and a pair of bangai cardinals.

What species of anthias? Some such as squammipinnis and bartletts are more aggressive with each other than some of the other anthias species. Social aggression coupled with less feeding could have led to it's demise.

Red Fairy Anthias. Agression was minimal with the two . One was kinda aggressive with the first to die.
