I am just trying to put together a stocking list for my build that will be wrapping up in a couple months. One thing I'm really wanting is quite a few smaller fish in this tank to create a lot of activity but minimal bio-load. Here is a list of Anthias that I'm thinking about adding please give your input on their success rate and comparability. My tank is about 122 gals net volume. I would like to know how many I can keep of each kind also, maybe 10-12 total fish, more if possible? Maybe remove one of the species?

Dispar Anthias
Ignitus Anthias
Randalls Anthias
Resplendent Anthias
Red Saddled Anthias

All of those anthias will coexist just fine, they are all peaceful species.

Personally, I like the look of larger schools of fewer species, but that is just personal aesthetics.

I recommend starting with females, as they will sort out the social dynamics themselves.

Anthias do better when fed a handful of small meals a day, so they do affect bioload that way.

Thanks, would you be able to tell me what a good number of fish to have in a 125 would be? My large fish will be 3 butterflies and the rest will be all small fish like firefish, gobies stuff like that. Do you think 12-15 would be too many?
