Anthias with White mass

I have been QTing 6 anthias (and other fish) for 2 wks
Copper safe 1.8
General cure is also dosed in the tank
I noticed on a female with this large white spot coming out of the skin.
What is this?

So posting in several different spots can get very confusing. I know you are trying to get responses, but be patient. If the fish is going to die if you don't get an answer in 10 min, it was unfortunately going to die anyway. I know how hard that can be.

Is the raised spot cottony, fibrous or cauliflower like in texture? If so it probably is lymphocystis. It's a usually harmless virus that is best treated with pristine water conditions, great food + vitamins ( prefer Beta Glucan), low stress. The virus often presents when the fish's immune system is suppressed, like when treating with copper, illness, injury, poor water conditons.
