Easily forgotten buy very important. Yesterday the power went out and while I was in the garage getting the generator started. My tank was flooding all over the floor. It wasn't too bad only about a gallon and a half but any amount of salt water is too much when it's on the carpet. The issue was the anti siphon hole was pretty much covered up by algae. I cleaned that tube about 3 weeks ago but didn't pay attention to that hole. I am now adding cleaning the hole to my weekly task. I suggest everyone check that hole to make sure it isn't clogged.

I forget about this as well! Definitely should be on the weekly tank to do list. I have 2 holes in each return pipe just to give better odds.
