Antibiotic?

Mixed with focus, it _should_ be safe in the reef - but will treat almost exclusively internally. (I've never used Kanaplex with Focus, but have used Metroplex and General Cure that way on several occasions, with no harm to corals or inverts.)

It's _not_ safe to dose into the water on your reef.

Kanaplex is a broad spectrum antibiotic and will treat apropriate bacterial infections regardless of delivery methode however it is not easily absorbed by the gut it's better absorbed by the gills, this is why it is usually dosed to the water. The question is what bacterial infection are your trying to treat? This makes more of a difference due to the antibiotics ability to treat aerobic or anaerobic bacteria
