ants??

I woke up the other day to find a large ant trail swarming my aquarium and crawling all over the rim of my display tank and around the sump. It is a newish tank about 2 months old and recently added some fish about a week ago. They were not going for anything in particular that I could see. I set up a trap near the entrance and the trail has more or less subsided now . I am now scooping out ant carcasses floating through my sump every morning and a bunch caught in my filter roller . Has anyone ever seen this?? I'm wondering what kind of chemistry alterations this may or may not cause.

ANy fish food drips/spill? never had this happen

dead ants in the tank should not be harmful.. they will just decay into nutrients. I do find a dead bug in the sump time to time.

Never had issue with ants but lotsa dead bugs in the water because of the blue light
