I have a nanocube 28 I want to convert to all SPS.. I want a radium, but all the fixtures with mounting legs are double-ended. I would kill to have a nice reflector, but my parents dont want me hanging stuff from the ceiling, or mount it to the back of the aquarium. Are there any reflectors with mounting legs I can buy?

Thanks.

How about hanging one from the wall behind the tank?

Why wouldn't they want it mounted to the back of the tank?

The stand already looks too unstable. Doesn't make sense to me, but they're the bosses of the house. I really don't care what it looks like as long as it has legs and runs a 250w radium.

There are systems like Sunpods that have legs. I would guess there are several others too.
I thought I saw a 250 watt Sunpod for sale over on RC.
Might want to check it out.

When you get a chance send me some photos of you tank with stand from every direction that you can. This way I can come up with some ideas that will work and still look nice. I can help you build a light stand out of black acrylic or whatever works. Either way it would still look nice, have an open top and good reflector.
