I am currently dosing kalkwasser thru a kalk stirrer and dosing this daily as well...what are you dosing thats simplistic and only that????

It’s pretty similar to what I dose although I do use awc so it’s dosing and removing tiny amounts daily. As the tank has matured it has gotten a bit more complex though with phosphate demands and needing to supplement kalk due to despite having a basement sump 2x the DT volume evaporation not being enough for kalk only.

Ca reactor and 20% water change every 2 weeks. That’s it. No nitrate or phosphate supplements although both are basically 0. No trace elements. No amino acids. No coral food. I had been using 2 part alk/calc on top of calc reactor until I figured out how to max out the reactor (100 bubbles/minute!).

I do kalk, aminos when I remember. That is all.

I use what ever is laying around lol mainly kalk stirrer, tm part c, phyto, calc reactor

I was using RS adcd for a year and I've since stopped about 3mo ago to see if I really needed it. I've yet to see anything noticable as of yet.

Pretty much my experience with pretty much all that coral food/amino acid/whatever is the new thing to add to your tank to make SPS thrive.

Never noticed any difference between when I dosed it, and when I didn't. Only thing I can honestly say was a difference, was my nutrient levels.

I don't use a gazillion supplements, but more than 2. I use CoralKolor, Coralamino, and a calcium reactor for the rest.

Same, I've always run nutrients higher than most would consider acceptable so I didn't get much movement there. I'm always open to try new things, besides kalk nothing else has really made a difference outside of having a finely tuned mature tank

Honestly amino dosing makes me feel better if I'm honest haha.

Where I noticed a difference is when I add no3. Left on its own, my tank zeros out no3 pretty quickly. When I add nitrate, I see better PE, better growth, and better color. This is after years of being quite proud of having basically no nitrate. I guess there is always something new to learn.

I keep what most would consider super high nutrients(No3 15 to 20, PO4 .1 to .2 I like to feed my tank. I've subscribed to the theory of heavy in - heavy out, and it has worked well for many years now.), and would notice a much higher increase when dosing anything but 2 part and phyto.

I'm not looking for maximum growth either. I have a smallish tank, thats well matured and grown in. The less pruning I have to do, the better.

That makes sense. I really have a hard time getting nutrients up even when I feed heavily.

I dose only BRS Calcium & Soda Ash (Alkalinity). Technically I sometimes add some BRS magnesium to my WC water if it’s not high enough, but I dose nothing else. I live by the KISS principle.
