Any advantage to moving corals higher or increasing light intensity?

I have a 28g nanocube with a kessil 360we on it and I run the max intensity of 40%. I’ve seen a lot of people take chalices and acclimate them to higher in the tank than the sandbed. I have some corals including an Acro that are all growing and thriving... is there any advantage to turning up the lights or moving things higher than I currently have it?

Within the light intensity tolerance spectrum (not sure what the proper term is, but whatever amount of light a coral can stand before its zooxanthellae go into overdrive and cause the coral to bleach), I'd imagine that you'd see the following (but I'm not a coral guy yet so...take this with a bucket of salt):

brighter colors (as the coral produced more pigments to handle excess light
increased growth (as the zooxanthellae produced more sugars and other chemicals that the coral could utilize for growth)

On the other hand, if your corals are healthy and growing, why change what you have?
