Hello all, I have plans for plumbing this pentair 40w sterilizer into my main system, I "had" it in a temporary set up just to get an idea of what its like and im glad I did, it was nothing but microbubbles for days, an acro RTN because of it. I took it offline now questioning the permanent install.

It is almost how I want to do it permanently but the pump will be submerged in the sump and tee of in 1" to the sterilizer and 1" to a frag tank that will be tied into the sump. And out of the sterilizer over the rim of the 120g tank edge in 1".

I am worried about room this is a small fish room, and being able to service the sterilizer light, so I am planning on mounting it preferably on the wall behind it vertical, unless this is an issue, or maybe the way I had the pump drawing water. Im not sure the issues that come with these this is my first official uv sterilizer unit.

Thank you for anything and everything

I'm limited on space but maybe strait vertical is not the way to plumb it?
