Thinking with the end in mind here, I wanted to put up my goal for this tank
I'm thinking of having a large column of live rock with shelves for xenia and maybe anthelia, with an anemone (likely Magnificent Anemone) and a clownfish pair (I'm looking at Maroon). I'll keep the eel and I'm looking at maybe a starfish as well.
Changes to setup: Much much more rock, switch out bioballs for more dedicated fuge maybe with other layered filtration. 0 TDS water, better lighting, might just swap out my substrate and current rock for all new rock and sand. Since the tank is so tall and I want a starfish I'm thinking of having a deep sand bed. RO unit will be the next step
