hey everyone I have a 50 gallon tank and was wondering in 2 green emerald crabs are you much for it my LrD will sell me pretty much anything and won’t tell me if it’s bad for the tank or not. I was reading some forums and they said that one is enough. But since I already have 2 crabs is there anything I have to worry about?

There's plenty to worry about but not 2 Emerald crabs in a 50 gallon.

You are fine with the two emerald crabs. I have a dozen in my 90 and barely see them.

Two is fine; mine sometimes feign aggression but I have never seen an injury. I think they are very interesting to watch, particularly when they try to intimidate me by raring up and showing off their claws. I have six and sic them on hair algae regularly.

I’ve got 2 in my 32 gallon, no problems. They are one of my favorite cuc.
