I've been looking for a reputable vendor selling gigantea, magnifica or haddoni carpet with nice colors primarily blue, green, yellow or red. Sold my beautiful blue haddoni which got lost in shipping and died unfortunately. So i've been looking for a month now to replace him and for whatever reason cannot find any healthy colored up carpets out there. Thanks

oh man! I have a beautiful green with white stripes that is the size of a LARGE dinner plate! I have been wanting to replace him with something smaller but could never catch him in a spot where I could get him out without damaging his foot. now for the bad news. last week I cleaned the powerhead and pointed it in a new direction and an hour later I found him caught in it. I unplugged it and let him get himself out he is severely damaged on one whole side. im sick over it as I have hade him for seven years or more I sincerely hope he recovers. if so I would be interested in trading or selling.

Ah man good luck with that. In situations like that it's kind of a 50/50 but I sure do hope he recovers.

thanks, one good sign is he opened fully and ate and the damage I can see now that he is open is a "notch" about 2 inches cut out of him, but at least he is eating !

iBluewater and LA.

I'd prefer not to order from LA since they don't have colored carpets often. Ibluewater is decent but high priced.

Tahoe61, sorry but I don't understand what you mean

Sorry.

iBluewater always has quality and quarantined large anemone types. Liveaquaria usually has some Haddoni, and the occasional Stichodactyla gigantea, you pay top dollar, but worth it imo.

yeah I'm leaning towards ibluewater but I did notice bluezooaquatics has a nice purple one on sale with free shipping. Have you ever heard anything good about them?

Yea, I bought a bubble tip once from Bluezoo, it arrived in good condition. Looked at site, (bluezoo) those Gigantea are a decent price, the red Haddoni is very nice.

BTW, BZA doesn't have the best track record for shipping Gigantea's. I would have them hold him for minimal of 2 months before I paid $360. If he does well after that, I would think about it, but not for that price. They get gigs for less than $40. Trust me.

yeah I decided not go go with them. I had a user on here who is selling a blue 8" gig but it looks a little bleached but may be worth it for the price
