Dug him out this morning along with a mantis shrimp. He is about 2" across the body...He has rounded bill claws...Is he reef safe or not and any idea how large he would get thanks

Looks like a Sally lightfoot crab. Reef safe is questionable. They sell them for reefs, but they get bigger and are opportunistic.
