Sent a very nice Tyree peace colony via UPS next day by 10:30a to be delivered in Michigan on Friday. UPS sent it to the wrong hub. Now they have sent it back to their Louisville hub for redirection. I have sent an intercept request to have it sent back to me but it will be Monday. So can a favia colony make it from Thursday evening until Monday in a styro cooler in reasonable temps? Thanks.

Very possible! Keep your hopes up!

Thanks all. This was a trade and I am the sender. Hope it comes back OK so I can nurse it back to health.

me too.

Darren has been great through this whole thing.

Thanks for working so hard to get this handled.

If it doesn't make it, no hard feelings.

Amen! Darren is kinda local to me and he is a very honest and good reefer for sure.

I also dealt with Darren, great guy and awesome communication at all the time, bought him some Chalices.

Yeah Darren is a great guy and I'm sorry that this has happened to him.

I yhad some shipped on a WThursday that didn't make it until Monday (chalices, favites, etc.) and several of them made. The SPS were goners, but many of the LPS made it. Don't give up hope.

Had a chalice frag that was supposed to arrive on Monday, and through a series of random mishaps, didn't get delivered till Friday. Perfectly healthy, no problems at all.

If your favia frag was healed up and healthy before it went in the box, and packed well, I'm betting it's fine.

Thanks folks. I am holding out hope. If it does not make it I will fix Junior up.

It's a chance we take when shipping our beloved corals. I too am sending survivor vibes out there in hopes that it's okay. Even if it doesn't look the best, try anyway. I've had pieces that looked like there was no flesh at all left on them rebound. Good luck to you.
