Any chemicals to kill diatoms?

Im not too new but I dont have a protein skimmer in my nano yet and would like any suggestions to kill the diatom breakout after cycling. Did a water change today...

I don't know of any chemicals exactly for diatoms. I would recommend using phosguard which can remove phosphate and silicates. But if you have noticed that they are slowly going away every water change I wouldn't change anything.

Just make sure you test your levels so you don't deplete your tank and cause a cyno or Dino issue.

Diatoms are just a symptom of a problem. Not the problem itself. Get your nutrients in order and the tank will be fine. What are your Nanos parameters?

Diatoms are from elevated silicates.

Chemical solutions to problems shouldn't be your first choice. For me, they're my very last choice.
In a new tank you just have to ride it out. Siphon what you can, keep up the water changes, use known good RODI source water and the tank will fall in line.
