This was given to me on a trade. The guy I got it from wasn't sure what it was either. When I got it it was severely bleached. It's now showing signs of a green color. The picture also shows a good bit of growth for the 2 months I've had it.

Any clues what this might be on the far right?

No idea on a specific ID, but its most likely an SPS that just encrusted on the plug and hasnt started its vertical growth yet. HTH

It looks kind of like a birds nest or pocilopora (spelling)

Don't think it's Birdsnest. It's not branchy (word?) like the one next to it.

On that rack is birds of paradise, Birdsnest, and the random.

I've wondered if it's some type of acro but I'm so unfamiliar with those I don't want to put a name to it.

It looks like it has smooth skin, round edges and a whole bunch of tiny blue/polyps polyps that stick out somewhat far...does that sound right?

Are we looking at the one in the front or the one in the back to the right of the bird nest

It's an Acropora but too small to be any more specific.

Yeah that is some sort of acro, I was looking at the coral towards the front of the pic. Sorry about that.

It's all good. I'm tempted to move him down in the tank off the rack now to see how well it does. I'm just running 4x54w T5s and get decent growth out of all my other SPS.

In your first photo, you show 3 corals but I assume you're asking about the one with the "sharp" tips? That particular coral is definitely a Birdsnest, Seriatapora hystrix. In your second photo, it's an Acropora, but will need to grow A LOT more before you'll be able to get any more specific ID.
