Any ever use this? Marin Tropic All For Reef

Basically an all in one for calc, mag, alk and trace.

I am skeptical about an all in one product but the one review on it is good. Seems promising, easy to monitor via dKh and from a well known brand. At $0.50 a day at base dose for a 75 gallon tank seems reasonable.

Any one know anything about it?

Stuff like this is to be used in between the week to maintain the levels, at the end of the week you should test and dose accordingly. For example You add the 3 main trace elements on Sunday you dose with this product during the week and on Sunday you test to see if the main elements are stable if so you carry on, if you find calcium low you dose with calcium to raise it. This kind of stuff normally works on smaller set ups.

There's likely nothing wrong with this product. There are ways to get all the elements in seawater into a single supplement without having to worry about precipitation. This product just ends up being really expensive.

For example, if you have a 10g tank and you use 1 dKh of alkalinity per day, you will need 13 mL of this product per day. Doesn't sound bad, but the 250 ml bottle will only last you about 19 days. And that's in a 10g tank. In a 75 gallon tank, if you use 1 dKh per day, you'll need to be dosing 100 ml of this supplement daily. A single $31 bottle of this stuff will last you less than 10 days at that consumption rate and cost you just over $3/day. The costs only go up from there the more your tank consumes.

They can be. They can be much much higher. Or lower. It just depends on what kind of critters you keep and how healthy they are. This product isn’t designed to be a cost effective solution for a stony coral heavy tank with fast growers and a lot of water volume. It’s intended to be a simple all in one solution for very low demand tanks with lower water volume.
