I already have one and am considering getting another so I can do automatic water changes everyday on my 14 gallon biocube.
Anyone have any experience doing this with these pumps?

I do not have experience doing this but I know that they are not made for continuous dosing and the pump will fail after a few months of continuous use. I think that BRS even states that somewhere in the instructions that they should run no more than an hour or two per day.

That's plenty for my 14 gallon biocube.

My Tunze Osmolator ended up with a broken sensor after a few years and instead of buying a new sensor I used it on a timer. I had it turn on 4 times a day for about 1 minute intervals on my 29g biocube. It did a great job and it only took me about 4-5 days to get the right number of intervals/time down.

The only weird thing about the timer is that for some reason the digital timers did not properly turn off the pump, it was only those timers where you have to manually set the tabs.

Hope that helps and I think it is a good idea so I say go for it.
