Any experience with non-popular/mainstream equiptment? Please Share :)

Throughout the years, I have moved from various countries and used an array of brands such as Sera, Juwel, Pacific Sun and various non famous brands (cant recall the names) that can be found online. Would be nice to hear about equipment whether it be lights, filtration, additives, etc.. that are not the main one's we use here in the US. There seems to be a "#1 best" of every item here which I'm sure is true, but doesn't mean that the others are not as great! Because I'm sure that reefers in other countries use brands that we are un-familiar with and have great success - and perhaps not over priced as some of our brands.

Please share your experiences!

there are absolutely many alternative (cost effective) ways in this hobby. Expensive brand names does not necessarily equate to better quality/results. @telegraham on Instagram shares a lot of insight into this.
