As im starting a new reef using dry rocks, i am plannin to cycle using ammonium chloride. Also i was looking for test kits like alk and no3. The individual ones are costing way more then the pack.

I would like to know if any1 is using the marine basic that has ph, alk, nh3, no2 and no3.

I prefer the individual test kits.
Here's what I use.
No3, redsea
Po4, Hanna
No2 Redsea
Ammonia, Salifert
ALK, Hanna
CAL, redsea
MAG, redsea
K, Redsea
PH, APEX
Temp, APEX
NSW, Milwaukee
Coffee, Keurig

But I'll get it to you tomorrow.

I have the Seachem Nitrite/Nitrate test kit. The kit matches the supplied reference sample quite closely. I used the reference sample with my Salifert Nitrate kit, and the readings are way off. However, there seems to be a significant problem with the newer Salifert colour reference cards. 50ppm on the new cards is about the same colour as 10ppm on the old cards. This matches my results with the reference sample; Salifert read ~50ppm and the reference is 10mg/L.

I've never used any of the other Seachem tests.

So seachem is good right? It measures low range no3 no2

Yes, it does measure low range Nitrates/Nitrites. I've never bothered to test Nitrites, but the Nitrate test appears to be pretty accurate.
