I bought this to help save my aquarium in case of failure. My heater has a built in controller but I want repetition. I want this so that if my tank temp goes to 81 (currently set to 79) it would turn off my heaters. Will this work for that and if so can someone help me program it to do that? Thanks!

I had the 308t for some time and unfortunately it drifted severely over time to the point of not being able to use it anymore.

This condition is random and not indicative of all of them.

Hopefully yours dosent drift.

The 308 has heating and cooling capabilities. I use fans in the summer, what you do is set your desired temp and your preferred variance, You also set a high and low temp that will give you an audible alarm, it comes with specific instructions. Just make sure to calibrate it when you 1st get it, I have 2 and they both came in registering different temps.

If you want to stay at 79-81 degrees, set TS=81,DS=3
