[h=1]Nova Extreme SLR T-5 Fixture-[/h]I just bought this from Drfostersmith.com, This will be going on my 55 gallon tank that I'm converting over to a reef, what are my limitations for corals, clams, and anemones? thanks!

It appears this fixture comes in different sizes/bulb amounts, but based the fact that you have a 55g tank I'm going to assume you have the 48" 4x54w fixture. I think it's a good fixture and you should have no problem growing nearly anything you'd like as long as it is placed correctly. I have a 6x54w on my 90g and it provides plenty of light. Also, you could always get some DIY leds and add to the fixture to really set off the colors and increase the over all par.

So you think clams will be ok? And yes I bought the 4x54 watt

The clams would probably have to be up on the rocks toward the middle of the tank, but I think it would be ok. If ou searched for threads with similar set ups you will probably find someone who has actually done it, or attempted to do it.

So.... you're saying my tank crashed for lack of sharing images?!?!? Karmic rules for the home reef micro environment are so complicated!!!

No problem! Just make sure to update this thread with pictures, or your tank will likely crash :)

Yes. There is a direct correlation between the success of a reef tank and the amount of pictures shared via reef forums. hahaha.

The pics as promised
