Like the title says I'm looking for any first hand experience with the TUNZE comline nanofilter 3161. I like the idea and saw a thread with a reefer who is really happy with his larger TUNZE comline filter in a 30g long. I'm thinking of trying the smaller version in my 7G nano.

I have also used the larger models.....think of this as the best combination of a power filter and a reactor. It is maintained like a power filter (easy), but uses media more like a reactor (versatile).

Running a heater and/or an ATO sensor in these smaller models is a sweet trick BTW.

Thanks for your comments, I am planning on trying the nano version on my 7 gallon. It will take up a little room but I will be able to get rid of my Cheap HOB filter and also hide my heater. So I think it's a win.

Have you seen the Reefpack 100? Not sure but this filter might be even smaller than what in the Reefpack....but if they're the same size, and you want a skimmer then you might want to consider the whole reefpack.
