Any feedback on these lights

There are tons of people who use them successfully. They fall under the "Chinese blackbox" category. I'm sure a quick Google search would give you an idea. I hear they are a little too yellow to look at, which is why I went with the SB reef lights because they have a better spectrum, but they can grow anything if you don't mind the yellowish look.

I like the Mars Aqua I have. I haven't notice the "yellow", but then again, I'm colorblind. I'm able to grow everything. Oh, and I pulled the lenses off mine....to focused with the lenses on it. It's the one in the middle....on either side are Apollo's (and this is blues only).

They seem to be the number one low budget Brand of black boxes. Very Few complaints.
Never owned on. Very powerful. Meh spectrum.

I use a very similar Chinese eBay black box 'brand' and they're better than name brand as far as color and growing power. Just not fully controllable....something I don't need.

Anyone no anything about these lights? I wander if they'd be any good?

$180 for two 165w lights.

(I'm terrible at examples, but...)
There's a story they tell in business school about how when Taco Bell first came out their tacos were only something like 20¢. Nobody would buy them because they were too cheap. So they raised the price to 50¢ or whatever and they were a hit.

These lights seem like the 20¢ taco of the story. (Someone else's lights seem like the 50¢ taco in the story. I prefer to make my own tacos or to eat at Chevy's. :p)

In seriousness, I'm sure you can grow corals under them because it's a lot of watts and corals are amazing.

However, if taking time and saving up a few $hundred is out....I'd at least consider acquiring some used lights or some of the various DIY plans along with these eBay lights.

If you're handy at all, but not into soldering I have a great, simple DIY plan....PM me if interested. (You can prolly find pics and some info about it by searching my old posts for "GU10" too. That's the kind of bulbs it uses.)
