Any good way to estimate tisbe pod population.

I know you can see some copepods on the glass at night, but what about smaller species that mostly hang around in rockwork like tisbe pods? You can barely see these things under normal conditions. How would I even know that they're doing well after seeing my tank with some?

if you can see one then there are thousands
