Any Good Ways to attach legs to heatsink?

Hello. I have a 20" wide cube that I want to build another set of actinics for. I run a 150w MH and like to supplement with actinic LED's. I made a strip with 6 royal blue cree's and rigged something up but I wanted a way to make it look good. Has anyone come up with a way to put legs on a heatsink so it can be placed on top of the tank without suspending it?

I have all the tools I would ever need. The best idea I had was to get a piece of angle iron and attach it to the heatsink to mate up with the glass of my tank.

No it would be over a nano cube.
