Im starting to see green hair and a few other types of algea on glass sand and rock . What a awesome invert or fish to get that will make my tank shine again?

theres a ton of snails to choose from (nerites, turbos, ceriths, etc), hermit crabs (blue leg, white leg, scarlet), fuzzy chitons, emerald crabs...if you have a large tank, a florida fighting conch would be a great algae eater and look cool too..

check out reefcleaners.org

I have a sea cucumber that eats algae on the sand bed and some of the blennies, (which are cute as buttons personality wise) will eat algae. Not much eats hair algae though.

Rainford Goby and foxface lo for filamentagious algae, starry or lawnmower blenny for the algae dust/film that grows on rocks and glass, and turbo snails for clean up.

Your lights are on for to long if you have an algea problem. Sort your lights out and blennies and snails will get rid of what you have.

Also, cut your nutient issue. Get Phosphates under .05, and your Nitrates under 20, this will help the problem out. But ultimately snails and other critters mentioned above are the determining factor in the cleanliness of the tank.
