Any Great LFS in the mid-US?

I'm in St. Louis, MO, and I'm starting to feel claustrophobic/land-locked. I'm planning to pack up my family and take a weekend road trip in a couple weeks. My son's only request is that he gets to stay in a hotel, so that should be easy, and my wife is pretty undecided as well, so I'd like to check out some really cool LFS if nothing else takes priority.

So, where should I go? I figure I've got about a 5-6 hour radius for a one-day's drive time, so unfortunately I can't make it to a coast on this trip. I would appreciate suggestions if anyone has them. Thanks!

Not a LFS but if you have not been down to Wonders of Wildlife in Springfield that would be a geed weekend trip.
