What kind of filtration are you using?

Could be a sort of bacteria bloom,. How old is the tank, have you recently added new live stock?

Tank is about a year old and yes few new fish

Floating in the water I see little bubbles I'm guessing from my skimmer but also little white specs wondering it looks like it's just being pushed around and not going down to my filter
I have a redsea mat 500 roller filter

Could just be air being pushed around or could be material from the new sand or suspended by your new fish. What were the new fish added?

I've seen mini bacteria blooms with new rock, sand, fish, ect added although its more common in newly set up systems its not out of the question with slightly more established systems. Personally i'd give it 48 hours before doing anything else. Should clear on its own if its indeed what Im thinking.

Yeah I think some of it is air from my bubble magnus
