Thank you in advanced. Can’t figure out what this guy is. Sorry pictures aren’t the best.

Definitely looks like a hermit crab with some kind of filter feeding feathers going on, a bit like a porcelain crab.

Following along to

Ghost hermit ha ha.
Following.
If it is a Ghost Hermit it is a odd looking one. Me and my brother use to catch big ones on the beach at night with a strobe light and make them into a soup, never saw one like this though, but never know it could just look that way because its a baby.

Yeah with new pictures, I would say a furry Albino Hermit Crab, color may change over time which may provide information for a more exact species name. Shouldn't be a problem in the tank I would just keep an eye on it.

Edit: Is he in some kind of QT right now?

Yes. I have him in a QT. Just using a specimen container place in the tank. Adding a bit of water every so often.

Would he be reef safe? I just have some mushrooms, frog spawn, and Blastomussa currently along with a clown fish. All has been doing great. Tank has been going about 8 months.

I would say yes he should be reef safe because majority of hermits are, still keep an eye on him over the next week or two because hermit crabs vary. If he does mess with any corals out he goes, if not you have a cool interesting new hermit crab.

Edit: With the crab still being an unknown species, no idea how big it could get overtime. Hopefully as it ages it's color will darken and you can identify it.
