Any help identifying this type of pods?

These are fascinating little guys. Small center body with, I assume, 6 legs and 2 pitchers. I recently cleaned the glass, which was filthy, and the population of these guys exploded, probably thousands by now.

+1 to hydroids. They have a life cycle stage where they are free swimming and look like tiny jellyfish, this stage where they're sort of star shaped and benthic, and then an adult stage where they grow sort of stalked colonies on things.

While there are potentially harmful hydroids, I don't believe species with these larval stages are generally a problem in reef tanks.

I see, they aren't legs, but tentacles. For some reason I thought I saw them walking around haha, but they don't. Thanks for confirming.
