Any hope for this little BTA?

Apparently this guy was found in a filter sock and was donated to my tank. It's been gone for about 3 weeks and after adding a new BTA has decided to come back out. Its not looking too good is there any hope for it to have a comeback?

If there is a mouth, and it can move about. Yes.

But, if that's just a tentacle shred/piece of a bta. Nope

Anyhow, if it dies at that size. I can't imagine it causing any ammonia spikes.

I'd leave it and hope for the best.

But, anemones hate me.

Heres a slightly better picture. Looks to me like there is a mouth in that tiny mess. Gonna leave it a cross my fingers it recovers


Any advice on the strings coming out of this ones mouth? I thought it was color striations at first but it looks like they might be coming from inside.

First picture was the original anemone in question.
