What iodine product? Any idea what the volume of iodine is?There's an LPS dip going around that is having a lot of success.
1st given to me by Ryan Chummingham a couple years ago and recently adapted by Danny at Kung fu corals.
This is the mix I have adjusted to recently with great success for fresh imports dying or losing flesh.
In 4g mix dry first for 10 min with airstone, heater and power head.
500mg cipro
10 scoops chemiclean either one
After dissolved add
5 full droppers of iodine
5ml restore
5ml amino acid
5ml witch hazel
For torches the suggested time is 6 hours on initial bath.
I turn the power head off for most of the treatment after the meds ar mixed.
I hope this helps.
This is a bath in a quarantine tank.
Thats a great question...I just fill the dropper each time. What iodine product? Any idea what the volume of iodine is?

I use Brightwells but there are other brands, not sure all of them lolWhat's the product?
Cool! Thanks. My gut instinct would be to toss OPs coral, but this treatment protocol seems worth trying.I use Brightwells but there are other brands, not sure all of them lol

Corals like this are perfect for the treatment. The ones we think are totally gone and really doesn't hurt to tryCool! Thanks. My gut instinct would be to toss OPs coral, but this treatment protocol seems worth trying.

Check your nitrates before you do anything. I lost a three year old colony I had from the time it was the size of a nickel. It was the size of a football when it started to recede. My nitrates were over 30 from a fist sized trophy’s snail that died in my rockwork.Stable tank, 420 ca, 7.5 ph, 8 alk,...
Gave a dip with Revive 24 hours ago. The flash was not tearing apart. Anything left to do?

My quarantine tank light is an OceanRevive and I only used blue starting at 1% ( 65 par ) and ramped up to 5% ( 85 par ). Very powerful light. I did not feed him in quarantine the first 2 weeks but fed him a couple of Mysis during the 3rd week. He was still not fully open but open enough to feed. He is a pig now and he gets a few bits and pieces when I feed my fish twice a day and he gets a big chunk of meaty foods twice a week when I spot feed my corals. He does not care for pellet food though. Loves the meaty foods, LRS, clam, shrimp, muscles you name it.@Steve2020 during quarantine, what light and did you feed it?
