Hello all,

Happy Holidays!

I am curious what the tube is at the base of the Frogspawn's rock centered in the pic.
If I shine my flashlight on it at night, it retracts to almost nothing, then extends like you see now after I remove the bright light.

I am assuming some kind of filter feeder. It is attached to the rock.

I would say some sort of feather duster or perhaps a vermeteid snail. Need a clearer picture for a more positive id. :)
 
Here is 2 more, It is at a funny angle for the camera. There is noting protruding from the tube. I think the little nub to the right of it retracts when it does.
